Summary:
The Hospitality Management Analyst is to provide hospitality management analysis services by conducting hospitality management analysis on hotel operations, including marketing, reservations, revenue, human resources, and guest relations to assist the Company’s revenue management strategies and business growth. The detailed job duties include the following:
Job Duties:

Provide strategic data analysis on Luna Hospitality’s sales & marketing to maximize company’s revenue growth and overall profitability of the managed properties;
-
Analyze market trend and demand source to accumulate the demand data and utilize the data to plan pricing strategies;
-
Conduct analysis on the implementation of revenue strategies and pricing management in all applicable systems;
-
Analyze budget and the gain and loss of RevPar index and market shares;
-
Monitor competitors and Philadelphia market daily rate, conduct competitive and strategic analysis to optimize the revenue growth;
-
Formulate operation modes suitable for each project and establish a unique guest service model suitable to the company and other managed properties and make timely adjustments accordingly;
-
Communicate efficiently with the customer service department of each platform, keep abreast of changes in platform policies and make timely adjustments on sales strategy for the company;
-
Integrating Luna’s leadership, employee’s creativity, self-efficacy and social cognitive theories and provide solutions to improve Luna’s leadership and employee management and apply the solutions in hospitality management practice;

Continuously improve guests’ satisfaction rate of Luna Hospitality by using Quality Control Methods (QCM), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), Quality Circle, and Total Quality Management (TQM);

Implementing quality control in daily operation to improve the efficiency in operational performance;

Implementing quality control techniques in Luna’s daily operation to ensure company perform the production and delivery of services;

Initiating and coordinating quality development, quality maintenance and quality improvement in various departments.
Job Requirements:
-
Four years college degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management with two years of Hospitality Management experience or master’s degree with no experience;
-
Excellent computer skills and knowledge in necessary systems and software: Outlook, Word, Excel, Accounting Software, Property Management System, Price Shopper, STAR etc.;

In-depth understanding and skilled operation of multi distribution channels in the Hospitality Industry;
-
Knowledge of integrating transformational leadership, creativity and social cognitive theories in hospitality industry;
-
Forecasting and creative revenue management abilities needed;
-
Ability to analyze financial systems and market data in Philadelphia Hospitality Industry;
-
Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations and reports;
-
Understanding of hotel operations and the lodging industry, real estate capital markets and trends, as well as the important metrics that define them.

The Hotel Investment Analyst position is to conduct research and analysis on trends and statistics on hotel/short-term rental market in the Philadelphia and tri-state area, providing analytical reports to potential investors and make recommendations for investment opportunities.
Job Duties:

Collect data, setup model, and conduct research and analysis on potential investment values primarily on hotel properties in the surrounding areas, including analyzing the short-term rental feasibility of newly developed real estate properties and estimating the potential investment risks and financial gains, by using various analytical tools and following appropriate analytic approach;
-
Seek potential hotel investment projects, collect data, conduct research and analysis, create project business plans, and build accurate ROI, ROE models to estimate potential investment risks and financial returns/gains for investors to make investment decisions;
-
Interpret research results and data on price, yield, stability, future investment-risk trends, economic trends and influences, and other factors affecting investment programs and provide investors with hotel investment analysis reports, create weekly, monthly, and annual reports for both company and investors;

Provide professional business analysis to assist company management and investors in the loan process;
-
Conduct SWOT analysis, sensitivity analysis and financial analysis and prepare action plans and analytical reports for upcoming investment projects;
-
Inspect properties, evaluate its location and other factors that would influence future values and analyze final estimation of property values taking into account such factors as depreciation, replacement costs, value comparisons of similar properties, and income potential.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or closely related field;

A related degree in Hospitality Management is highly desirable;

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines;

Strong critical thinking skills and attention to details, with a demonstrated high proficiency using open sources and research database tools; emphasis on incorporating multiple data streams and/or synthesizing large amounts of information into a single deliverable preferred;

Demonstrated proficiency conducting due diligence and identifying risks associated with individuals, companies, and networks; experience research entities based or operating in emerging markets helpful;

Ability to leverage data to assess risk factors, create analytic methodologies, and identify trends;
-
Strong reading comprehension and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively deliver confident analysis and well-sourced deliverables in dynamic environments;

Fluency in Microsoft Excel, OS Numbers and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, OS Keynote;
-
Demonstrated teaming skills are required, working with other departments in a professional manner to achieve program goals;

Demonstrated ability to perform as a reliable contributor, both individually and as part of a group, with a positive attitude and willingness to both learn and teach others;

Proactive, with good follow-up skills;

Strong problem-solving abilities and awareness;
